ASAP Start £105.00 per day PLUS holiday 4 days office/ 1 WFH 3 months My client are a global legal organisation who are looking for an administrator to join their team! To provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the legal team, ensuring the efficient operation of the department. The successful candidate will manage correspondence, coordinate meetings, maintain accurate records, respond to routine enquiries, and support legal professionals in delivering high-quality legal services. Key Responsibilities Include:- - Respond personally to requests for information relating to office procedures, policies, and administrative matters.
- Prepare, draft, and, where authorised, sign routine, non-technical correspondence in their own name or on behalf of the supervisor.
- Manage diaries and schedule tentative appointments without requiring prior supervisory clearance, ensuring efficient time management.
- Organise conferences, meetings, and appointments, including booking venues, coordinating attendees, preparing agendas, and assembling relevant background materials as directed.
- Attend meetings when required, take accurate minutes, and prepare reports summarising discussions, actions, and decisions.
- Review outgoing correspondence, reports, and other documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, compliance with organisational procedures, and that all necessary approvals and clearances have been obtained.
- Collect, compile, and retrieve information from legal files, case management systems, and staff members to respond to routine enquiries and prepare periodic reports.
- Maintain legal files, records, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
- Assist legal professionals with document preparation, case administration, and the management of legal records.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times when handling sensitive legal information.
- Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes and contribute to the effective operation of the legal department.
- Carry out any other duties commensurate with the level of the post as reasonably required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential - Experience providing administrative support within a corporate environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
