Job Description


Commissioning Engineer
Location: Field-Based, London
Salary: £43,000 to £46,000 plus bonus and benefits

Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys bringing complex systems to life? We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our growing technical team, supporting the delivery of intelligent lighting control systems across commercial sites in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects where your expertise will make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Commissioning lighting control systems and connecting them to control panels on client sites
• Setting up and testing components such as sensors, switches and control modules
• Working with DALI, LonWorks and IP-based systems to ensure full system functionality
• Troubleshooting faults and resolving issues on site
• Training clients on how to operate their systems effectively
• Providing ongoing support post-installation
• Completing accurate job documentation and reports

What We’re Looking For
• 3 to 5 years’ experience commissioning lighting or electrical systems
• Confident working with PCB designs and control panels
• Solid understanding of DALI, 1 to 10V dimming and IP networking
• Self-sufficient and confident working independently on site
• CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full UK driving licence
