| Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Type: Temp to Perm Location: Saltly - Birmingham Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pm Salary: £13.46 per hour ( Annual salary - £28,000) About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced team within the transport and distribution sector. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone with a strong background in either pallet network operations or large-scale multi-drop logistics. You will play a key role in ensuring the coordination and execution of daily deliveries, managing time-critical schedules and maintaining excellent service levels across the board. Key Responsibilities: - Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party carriers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery - Manage bookings, manifests, and transport documentation - Monitor delivery progress and resolve any logistical issues or delays - Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery schedules and queries - Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures - Accurately update internal systems and logs - First point of call for all customer enquiries. Requirements: - Previous experience working within a pallet network or high-volume multi-drop environment is essential - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure - Able to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment - Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving Benefits: - Opportunity to transition into a permanent role - Monday to Friday working hours- 10:00am - 19:00pm – no weekends - Supportive team environment - On-site parking (if applicable) - Career development and training opportunities |
