About the Role As a Night Shift Machine Operative, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of machinery within a manufacturing setting. Your primary goal will be to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities - Operating and monitoring production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures. - Conducting routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications. - Performing basic machine adjustments and minor maintenance tasks. - Identifying and reporting any mechanical faults or production issues promptly. - Loading and unloading materials from machines. - Maintaining a clean and organised work area. - Adhering to all health and safety regulations. - Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift operations. Working Hours & Pay - Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Hours: 22:00 - 06:00 - Pay Rate: £13.82 per hour Skills & Experience Required - Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. - Good communication skills. - A proactive and reliable approach to work. - Ability to follow instructions accurately. - A good understanding of health and safety principles.
