Machine Operator – Stratford-upon-Avon We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy production environment with consistent hours and long-term prospects. Location: Stratford-upon-Avon - CV37 Contract: Permanent, full-time Pay & Hours - £13.08 per hour - Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 5:00pm - Overtime opportunities available Key Responsibilities - Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production. - Carry out basic machine setup, adjustments, and quality checks. - Inspect finished parts against specifications, maintaining high standards. - Follow all health & safety procedures and keep the work area organised. - Report any issues and support continuous improvement activities. Summary of Duties & Responsibilities - Manual inspection of components using hand measuring equipment. - Loading machines, monitoring material usage, and checking production output. - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process controls. - Using precision tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Magnifying Glass) to measure and record data accurately. - Working within a quality-controlled ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 manufacturing environment. Candidate Requirements - Experience in manual machine operation within a traditional industrial facility (lathes and associated equipment preferred). - Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. - Flexible approach with the ability to follow company procedures, health & safety, and quality protocols. - Training can be provided for candidates with aligned machining skills. - Ongoing training and career progression opportunities for those demonstrating commitment and capability.
