Job Responsibilities- Operate production machinery to perform specific operations or produce parts according to specifications.
- Set up machines, load raw materials, and ensure proper functioning before commencing production runs.
- Manually operate machines during production, monitoring performance and quality.
- Unload finished products from machines and prepare them for next stages or packaging.
- Follow written or verbal instructions and adhere to general operating procedures.
- Identify potential issues or problems during operation and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain control over product quality, ensuring standards are consistently met.
- Perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems for recording production data.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience operating production machinery is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
- Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions accurately.
