| - Temp to perm opportunity with a leading manufacturer - Great working environment & employee benefits - Opportunity to earn in excess of £15 per hour once fully trained We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis, providing essential support within a specialist electrical & mechanical process plant. Initial training will be completed on day shifts before transferring to a fixed night-shift pattern (18:00–06:00). This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, structured processes, and achieving daily targets. Key Responsibilities: The Machine Operator will work as part of a small, supportive team to carry out routine production tasks, follow established procedures, and ensure consistent output quality. Duties include preparing equipment, monitoring production stages, completing documentation accurately, supporting basic machine upkeep, and safely handling materials throughout the process. The role requires maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment and contributing to efficient workflow and throughput.  Person Profile: We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn. You should be dependable, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and comfortable working to targets. Flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential. You will likely have worked in a similar role as a Production Operative for at least 6 – 12 months prior. Due to the compressed working days, the shifts are lengthy, and as such we do require people who are comfortable and experienced with working night shifts.  Daily responsibilities of the Skilled Operator:  Learning to set machinery in accordance with company requirements Use of hand tools to quality check own work Accurately following SOPs (needs a level of English for understanding verbal and written instructions) Acting as a responsible Operator and supporting colleagues in surrounding production cells Safe manual handling of raw metallic materials  Hours of work: 1800-0600 Monday – Thursday, one hour lunch per shift Rate of pay: £13.83- £13.97 starting rate, increasing immediately upon successful completion of your probationary period  Benefits: Pension scheme, Cycle to Work, employee assistance support, health scheme, long-service recognition, reward programmes, and performance-related bonus opportunities.
