We are currently recruiting for two experienced Machine Operators to join an established production team following the successful commissioning of a new manufacturing machine. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators seeking a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.

Our client is comprised of a warm, welcoming team, with an impressive length of service across its employees. There is tangible pay progression, designed to recognise people developing from trainee Setters to fully self-sufficient maintenance operatives.

The successful candidates will have proven experience setting up and operating industrial machinery, ideally within the FMCG sector. You will be responsible for machine setup, efficient operation, carrying out quality and safety checks, completing all required production documentation, and resolving minor technical issues to minimise downtime.
Key Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues
- Complete production checks, records, and paperwork accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety
- Work in accordance with BRCGS standards
- Support continuous production and efficiency targets

Key requirements:

- Previous machine setting (or maintaining/calibrating) and operating experience is essential (12 months minimum)
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Proven ability keeping pace with past-faced, high-volume environments and meeting KPI standards
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Shifts will rotate between 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm after a brief period of training on days.

Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour DOE
