Maintenance Manager

Our client is a successful food producer in the Dungannon area supplying to retailers across the UK & Ireland

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team and drive forward engineering excellence across the production site

Suitable candidates will need a strong background in maintenance engineering with management experience, this role involves some hands on work but will mostly be managing the team

The Role

• Reporting to the Operations Director, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:
• Leading and managing the engineering department, including shift engineering staff
• Driving reliability and efficiency across production equipment and site infrastructure
• Developing and executing a preventative maintenance strategy
• Managing capital projects, installations, and equipment upgrades
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., H&S, engineering standards)
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis of equipment downtime
• Managing engineering budgets and procurement of spares and equipment
• Working closely with production, quality, and senior leadership to support operational performance

The Person

• An experienced engineering professional within a manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally in food
• Strong in people management, team development, and communication
• Skilled in planning and project management
• Knowledgeable about PLCs, automation, and site services
• Can drive forward a culture of reliability, safety, and continuous improvement
