Job Description


Our client are a leading Food Producer in Dungannon who are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their team, supporting production and carrying out maintenance to ensure downtime is minimal

Monday to Friday hours with options of weekly early & lates, or 2 weeks early & 1 week days. Overtime outside of core hours paid at 1.5 rate

Suitable candidates will need maintenance experience in Food/ FMCG settings and ideally have strong multi-skilled experience across mechanical and electrical systems.

Electrical OR Mechanical bias is welcome but we need good overall multi-skilled experience

As a leading food producer this company have a track record of long term employment and a stable workforce.

Job Role:

  • Fault diagnosis, repair, and upkeep of equipment, working across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are followed and completed
  • Providing technical support and general maintenance across the site
  • Working with electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic operated equipment
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Carrying out all mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
  • Assisting in the general upkeep and repair of the factory facility
  • Ensuring the continuous operation of all factory utility systems
  • Maintaining and promoting high standards of work and quality
  • Following company policies, procedures, and health & safety practices
  • Ensuring all systems operate in a safe and efficient manner as designed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working in production maintenance, ideally Food/ FMCG
  • Apprentice qualified engineering/ electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and fault finding skills
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems/ automated production
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good knowledge of health and safety
