| Management Accountant / Ayrshire / Salary circa £46k / Permanent Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business in Ayrshire, where you’ll play a key role in driving supply chain performance and shaping financial insights for both local and US reporting. This permanent role offers flexible working, excellent development opportunities, and doesn’t require you to be fully qualified – though strong SAP skills and experience in inventory management will set you apart. What you’ll be doing: - Leading the coordination and review of working capital reporting packs for internal and group purposes. - Supporting financial modelling and forecasting processes across supply chain, materials, and general supplies. - Holding monthly reviews with supply chain managers, challenging performance and driving accountability. - Reviewing cost variations, purchase price variances, and supplier claims with SCM teams. - Reconciling and ensuring integrity between SAP Bills of Material and financial records. - Preparing detailed financial performance reports for both European and US leadership. - Managing large volumes of data and turning it into clear, actionable insights. - Building strong relationships with auditors, suppliers, and wider business stakeholders. - Driving continuous improvements in reporting, forecasting, and process integrity. What we’re looking for: - Strong SAP knowledge and proven experience in inventory or supply chain finance. - A degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience (full qualification not essential). - Excellent Excel and IT skills, with exposure to tools like TM1 being a bonus. - Great communication skills and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders. - A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for process improvement.
