Job Description


Position: Maths Teacher
Location: Central Bournemouth, Dorset
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with Potential for a Permanent Role)
Pay Range: £160 - £240 per day (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm


Overview:

A highly regarded secondary school located close to central Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will be teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a very supportive and well-resourced department. The school prides itself on fostering a collaborative teaching environment and is committed to helping all students achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons to students in KS3 and KS4

  • Support a range of learners to build confidence and proficiency in Mathematics

  • Plan and differentiate lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop high-quality teaching resources

  • Take part in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
