Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Long-Term (with strong potential to become permanent) Pay: £165 – £260 per day (experience dependent) Hours: Full-Time | 8:00am – 4:00pm Location: Near Central Salisbury A secondary school in Salisbury is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher from January 2026 on a long-term basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The Maths department is well-resourced, forward-thinking and committed to excellent teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school will consider both qualified Maths Teachers and unqualified teachers who have experience teaching in UK secondary schools. What You Will Be Doing • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4. • Planning engaging, differentiated lessons that support and challenge learners. • Tracking student progress and giving constructive feedback. • Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment. • Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives. About the School • Mixed 11–16 secondary school with approx. 850 students. • Rated “Good” by Ofsted with high standards and strong inclusion. • Supportive leadership team offering excellent professional development. • Located close to central Salisbury with easy transport access. What We’re Looking For • Qualified Maths Teacher with QTS, or • Unqualified Maths Teacher with proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools. • Strong behaviour management and communication skills. • Passion for Maths and motivating young people. • Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining professional standards.
