Job Description


Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: St Helens, Merseyside (WA10 1HF)
Salary: £26,000- £35,000 (DOE)
Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30 and Fridays 08:00- 13:00
Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a well-established company, who are market leaders in designing, manufacturing and fitting specialist pressure valves and gauges for the Oil, Gas industries.

As a Mechanical Assembler your duties will be: -

" Conduct maintenance, servicing and assembly of relief valves.
" Deburring and cleaning the relief valves.
" Testing, calibrating and painting components.
" Attend customer sites to conduct annual services/replace old components.
" Maintain accurate records, ensuring all work meets compliance and safety standards.

The successful Mechanical Assembler will have the following skills: -

" Some experience of working within a mechanical fitting/engineering role.
" Any experience working within the oil/gas/chemical industry would be advantageous.
" Strong attention to detail
" Excellent communication skills with a professional customer approach.
" Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
" Hold a current full UK driving licence.
