MEICA Manager Location: Site based, United Utilities framework, within 50 miles of Manchester Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 45 hours per week The Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEICA Manager to join a major water framework, delivering mechanical, electrical and ICA works across multiple sites. This is a hands on leadership role overseeing MEICA delivery from design through to commissioning, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget. You will manage a small MEICA team, work closely with civil delivery teams and engage with clients, designers and the supply chain to drive quality, value engineering and performance across the framework. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the delivery of all MEICA activities across multiple water industry projects • Ensure designs are buildable and challenge proposals through value engineering • Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical and control systems • Manage programme, cost, quality and supply chain performance • Lead health, safety and environmental compliance across all MEICA works • Coordinate commissioning plans, inspection and test plans • Manage subcontractors and key suppliers to ensure quality and value for money • Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders • Support tendering and future work winning activities • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification About You Essential • Proven experience managing MEICA works within the water industry • Background as a MEICA Project Manager or similar delivery focused role • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying value and complexity • Methodical approach with a focus on safety, quality and delivery Desirable • Degree, HND or HNC in a relevant discipline • SMSTS or SSSTS • CSCS card • APM membership or equivalent • First Aid certification What’s on Offer • Competitive salary up to £65,000 • Long term, secure work on a major water framework • Company pension and life assurance • Private medical cover • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Car or allowance depending on role • Ongoing training, development and clear career progression Please apply with an up-to-date CV |
