Pay Rate: £17 About the Role:
Manpower is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Temporary Moffett Driver to support our client delivery and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett) and be comfortable loading/unloading materials in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Operate HGV (Class 1 or Class 2) and Moffett equipment to transport and unload goods at customer sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Load and unload deliveries using the Moffett forklift, ensuring load safety and balance.
- Deliver goods to a range of customer locations including construction sites, depots, and residential addresses.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and vehicle condition reports.
- Comply with all transport laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Always represent the company professionally with customers and the public.
Requirements: - Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Moffett certification (RTITB or HIAB).
- Clean driving record and strong understanding of load securing and road safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred: - Experience in delivering building materials or construction-related goods.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm and Friday 7am to 4pm  |
