Morning Catering Assistant- North Bristol

Berekeley Scott are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working Morning Catering Assistant to join our clients team at a busy independent deli in North Bristol. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment and takes pride in providing excellent service and delicious, freshly prepared food.

You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the deli — helping with food preparation, serving customers, and keeping the kitchen and front-of-house areas clean and organised.

Hours: Morning shifts, typically between 6:00am and 13:00pm (Monday–Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and serving breakfast and lunch items

• Help set up and restock the deli counter with fresh products

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas

• Operate the till and provide friendly, efficient customer service

• Support with washing up, clearing tables, and general kitchen duties

• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a café, deli, or catering environment preferred

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling

• Friendly and professional approach to customer service

• Team player with good communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a busy morning environment
