Location: Brighton

Pay: £13.70 – £15.05 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join one of the lovely early years settings we work with in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children and wants to gain valuable experience in a nurturing and engaging environment.

In this role, you will help provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive space for young children, assisting the team in delivering fun and engaging activities that encourage learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support staff in providing high-quality care and play opportunities for children.

• Help set up and tidy away activities and resources.

• Encourage positive play and interaction between children.

• Assist with daily routines such as snack time, toileting, and outdoor play.

• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children.

Requirements:

• Experience of working or volunteering with young children (desirable but not essential).

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply.
