Nursery Assistant

Supply Desk are currently working with nurseries in Hailsham to provide vital support for young children in their early years of education. We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals who are keen to make a positive impact on children’s development. Whether you're looking for day-to-day cover or a longer-term position, we have opportunities for Nursery Assistants to work in a variety of settings.

• Childcare experience

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be expected to:

• Support children in a safe and nurturing environment, helping them with their personal, social, and emotional development

• Assist with play-based learning, guiding children through activities that promote creativity, motor skills, and communication

• Support the nursery staff with general daily routines and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times

• Help with maintaining a clean and organized environment, preparing materials and setting up activities

• Build positive relationships with both children and parents, supporting the child’s individual needs
