Nursery Assistant

Nursery Support Roles – Eastbourne

Supply Desk are currently working with nurseries and early years settings in Eastbourne to provide essential support for young children. We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to help children develop and reach their full potential in their early years. We offer a variety of roles, ranging from day-to-day support to longer-term positions, assisting children in their learning and development.

We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, including:

• Early years experience

• Childcare or nursery assistant experience

• Youth work

• Volunteer work with young children

• Support workers

• Sports coaching (working with young children)

• Scout/Guide leaders or similar roles

As a Nursery Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, helping them with their early learning and development

• Assisting nursery staff with daily activities and routines

• Helping set up and prepare learning materials and activities

• Supporting children with additional needs in a caring and proactive manner

• Participating in creative, play-based activities that promote development

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of children throughout the day
