Nursery Nurse

Position: Supply Nursery Staff
Location: Hailsham
Pay: £20-35 per hour
Hours: Between 08:30 – 17:30
Contract Type: Day-to-Day Supply

Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specializing in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in various schools across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, and West Sussex.

Supply Desk is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Nursery Staff to join our team in Hailsham. This flexible role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of nurseries, providing valuable experience while making a real difference in the lives of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities for children, supporting their early learning and development.
• Ensure a positive and nurturing environment that promotes safety and well-being for all children.
• Plan and implement creative play and learning activities that stimulate children’s curiosity and imagination.
• Work alongside nursery staff to support the care and development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Support individual children’s learning, ensuring each child’s needs are met and they receive the attention and care required.
• Manage children's behavior in a calm, supportive, and positive manner, helping them learn appropriate social skills.

Requirements:

• ?? Relevant qualifications or experience working with young children (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education, Teaching Assistant, or Nursery Nurse).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
• ? Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
