Salary: £34 per hour (umbrella of your choice)

Location: Leicestershire, East Midlands

Job Type: 3 month locum contract with a view to extend

Shifts: Full or part time hours considered

About the Role:

HCRG Staffing are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in Leicestershire for a Council / local authority.

Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) who has experience of working within adults social care.

The successful Occupational Therapist (OT) is required due to long term sick and vacancies within the team - which is impacting on the OT waiting list and the ability of the team to respond to urgent referrals.

Key responsibilities include:

• To work with people to carry out OT assessments of their needs and to plan how to meet these needs using the full range of available resource with the aim of supporting them to be as independent as possible.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licenses: HCPC registered
• Experience: Experience of working within adults social care.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience when working with vulnerable individuals. Ability to use own initiative to provide information and support to other staff
