Location: Shipley
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a Packing Operative to join a busy and well?established manufacturing site in Shipley. This is a long?term opportunity with the view to securing a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This role offers full training, stable Monday-Friday hours, and the chance to join a friendly and supportive team within a well?organised production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operating packaging machinery in line with production schedules
- Monitoring product quality and reporting any faults or deviations
- Packing finished products and ensuring correct labelling
- Completing basic production and quality documentation
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or machine operative role is desirable, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
