An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well-established, design-focused architectural practice based in Oxford. The practice is known for delivering exceptional projects across the region, with a strong portfolio ranging from high end residential homes and bespoke housing developments to contemporary commercial spaces. This role offers a clear pathway for progression, with full support to achieve your Part 3 qualification. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced Architects who are committed to mentoring and developing emerging talent. Role and Responsibilities: - Contribute to the design process, from concept through to technical delivery. - Produce detailed drawings, presentation boards, and 3D visuals to support design proposals. - Assist with preparing planning applications and construction information. - Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. - Attend site visits, providing support with inspections and progress reporting. - Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards. - Work effectively to meet project budgets, deadlines, and client expectations. Skills and Requirements: - RIBA Part 1 & 2 qualified with a strong academic background. - Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable. - A creative portfolio demonstrating both design flair and technical understanding. - Strong communication and organisational skills. - A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine ambition to develop professionally. |
