Part-Time Admin Support Officer Location: Plymouth Hours: 15 hours per week / Monday to Friday 09:00am - 12:00pm Pay: £12.85 per hour Contract: Temporary (22/09/2025 - 31/08/2026) Are you passionate about supporting creative projects and making a difference in young people's lives? Plymouth Youth Music Service is seeking a dedicated Admin Support Officer to join their team on a part-time basis. Role Overview As the Admin Support Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative operations. You'll support music leaders, young people, and schools by managing communications, logistics, and contributing to project planning and development. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll be the central point of coordination for the service. Key Responsibilities - Provide administrative and reception support to the service - Monitor instrument hire requests and support termly logistics - Process invoices, take meeting minutes, and maintain admin systems - Collaborate with the Instruments Coordinator on stock management - Support Music Hub events and facilities management - Assist with funding applications and evaluation reports - Help manage social media and website content - Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas - Carry out other duties as required within the scope of the role Essential Skills & Experience - GCSEs A*-C (9-4) in English and Maths or equivalent - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Strong administrative experience and understanding of office procedures - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records - High attention to detail and strong time management skills - Confident in handling service requests and resolving issues professionally Desirable - NVQ Level 2 or 3 - Experience in education, arts, or music settings - Good knowledge of musical instruments - Experience in process improvement and managing busy workloads - A strong customer service ethos Call Emily on 01752 601116 for more information or click 'Apply Now' to submit your application today!
