My client are seeing a Part Time Communications Specialist to support the development and delivery of high‑quality internal communications. The successful candidate will contribute messaging, content, and branding recommendations aligned with organisational standards and the aims of each communication initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and interpret communication briefs for individual projects, clarifying objectives, target audiences, tone, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop compelling communication materials, including messaging frameworks, written content, visual concepts, and narrative structures.
  • Provide branding and style recommendations to ensure communications align with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Draft and refine content for various channels such as email, intranet, presentations, digital assets, and stakeholder updates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and incorporate feedback.
  • Advise on communication approach, including audience segmentation, channel selection, and sequencing.
  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely delivery of all assigned work.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold organisational values and communication standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in communications, messaging development, or brand‑aligned content creation.
  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information into accessible, engaging content.
  • Experience interpreting briefs and delivering high‑quality project-based outputs.
  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and visual identity principles.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
  • Experience working within large organisations or matrix environments.
  • Experience in internal communications, change communications, or learning communications.
  • Basic design or layout skills (PowerPoint, templates, or light creative work).
  • Understanding of digital communication platforms.
