Part-Time Purchasing Administrator (Temporary - 3 Months) Location: Begbroke, Oxford, UK Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week Pay Rate: £14.35 - £15.35 per hour
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Part-Time Purchasing Administrator to join their team on an initial 3-month temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing or administration professional to contribute to a busy and fast-paced production environment. Reporting directly to the Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring the timely availability of materials through effective purchase order management and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and review the purchase order book to ensure materials are available to meet production demands
- Proactively liaise with suppliers to progress outstanding purchase orders and update internal systems
- Confirm material availability for new product prototype work orders
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments
Key Skills & Experience:
- Approximately 3 years' experience within a purchasing or supply chain environment
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Working knowledge of MRP systems
- Highly organised with a results-driven mindset and the ability to use initiative
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proven ability to deliver in a challenging commercial environment
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and ethical working practices
