Permanent Assistant Manager- Nailsworth

Assistant Manager needed for a busy hotel on the outskirts of Bristol. Set in the beautiful countryside of South Glos.

About the Role:

As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and the successful delivery of weddings, events, and restaurant service. Working closely with the senior management team, you'll help lead and develop a passionate front-of-house team and maintain the highest service standards.

. A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality, preferably in event or wedding venues.
. Hands-on leadership style and ability to motivate and develop a team.
.Strong organisational and communication skills – calm under pressure.
. Proven experience delivering exceptional guest experiences at high-volume events.
. Knowledge of licensing, health & safety, and compliance.
. A flexible approach to working hours (evenings, weekends, and event days are essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support front-of-house operations during weddings, events, and service shifts.

• Work closely with the Events Manager to deliver smooth and memorable functions.

• Train, coach, and develop the FOH team.

• Manage stock levels, rotas, and day-to-day reporting.

• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and team morale.
