Physics Specialist – Chatham

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Chatham known for its high expectations, supportive staff, and strong academic ethos. This full-time role covers KS4 and KS5 Physics, with planning and marking responsibilities. The school is seeking someone to start as soon as possible, with the position running until at least Christmas 2025. Contract: Full time, Starting ASAP until Christmas 2025 at least

Salary: £168 - £232 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
• Plan and mark work in line with curriculum expectations
• Support students in achieving academic excellence and fostering a love for science
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators in a well-resourced department
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its high standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in Physics or a closely related subject
• Experience teaching KS4 and KS5 (A-Level) Physics
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to planning, marking, and delivering high-quality lessons
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
