Plant Scheduler - Leigh, UKFull-time - 37.5 hrs per week working Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with various departments to align production plans with inventory levels and customer demand.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimise work-flow.
- Prepare reports on production performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the availability of materials required for production.
- Assist in the development of capacity planning and forecasting strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in production scheduling or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage.
