| A successful family-owned building company specialising in insurance repairs is looking for a Plasterer due to an increase in volume of work through long term clients. Based at the Hull office, you will work to a very high standard, working within domestic properties from ceiling/patch plaster repairs to full properties. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week. You will receive a salary of £32,800 per annum, overtime at time and a half, a pension scheme, and a company van. What you’ll be doing as Plasterer: You be responsible for completing primarily domestic insurance repair works as per the job card instructions. You will complete works to a high standard efficiently, maintaining health and safety on site, liaising with other trades and customer satisfaction. Duties: - Completing plaster works as per job card - Stripping out properties in preparation for building works - Assisting other trades to complete works as required What we’re looking for in a Plasterer: Experience of insurance re-instatement would be an advantage. Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role working in occupied domestic environment. Insurance related background would be a great advantage. Tradesmen must be qualified suitable to the trade. Requirements: - Experience in all aspects of plastering - Experience of artexing (not essential) - Experience of rendering (not essential) - Minimum qualification of NVQ 2 or qualified by experience. - Willingness to undergo a DBS check - Full valid driving license - You must be professional, be able to self-manage and ensure customer satisfaction. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team and excellent communication skills. Additional skillsets such as bricklaying would be an advantage but not essential.
