Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bovingdon. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young learners in a supportive and creative environment.

The school is dedicated to providing high-quality education, fostering a love for learning, and developing confident, independent children. The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant staff team that places pupils’ well-being and progress at the heart of everything they do.


Job Description:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning and celebrates pupil achievements.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future planning.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to support student development and well-being.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, using positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to whole-school development.
  • Take part in ongoing CPD to enhance professional growth and teaching skills.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in a primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
  • Be passionate about teaching and committed to delivering high-quality education to all pupils.
  • Be creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic with a nurturing approach.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be a team player who is keen to contribute to the wider school community.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
  • Be open to further training in safeguarding, phonics, SEND or other key areas.
