| Permanent/ Full Time role available for a well established business in Tamworth :- : Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Breaks: 15-minute morning break and 30-minute afternoon break ________________________________________ Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery (Howa and V-Turn) and a range of hydraulic presses, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities •   Operate CNC machines (Howa and V-Turn) in accordance with production requirements •   Operate a range of hydraulic presses safely and efficiently •   Conduct visual inspections of finished components •   Use calibrated measuring equipment to ensure products meet required specifications •   Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping •   Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times ________________________________________ Skills and Experience Essential: •   Previous experience operating CNC machinery or hydraulic presses, XYZ – 4 Axis Machine •   Ability to carry out accurate visual inspections •   Experience using calibrated measuring equipment •   Good attention to detail •   Strong communication skills •   Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Desirable: •   Experience operating both CNC machinery and hydraulic presses (training will be provided where required) ________________________________________ Personal Attributes •   Reliable and punctual •   Quality-focused •   Proactive and willing to learn •   Team-oriented approach Pay: £16 per hour (negotiable dependant on experience). 30 days annual leave, including 18 free choice days and UK Bank Holidays. |
