The Role: We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Engineering Supervisor to join the team. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations within a busy press shop and wider manufacturing areas, ensuring efficiency, quality, and team performance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise production activities across the press shop and wider engineering areas. - Manage, motivate, and support a skilled workforce to meet production targets. - Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality across all operations. - Monitor production schedules and adjust priorities to keep targets on track. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development. - Use production and reporting systems to monitor progress and communicate effectively. - Hands-on involvement with machinery and operations, supporting the team as needed. Skills & Experience Required: - Proven experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally within a press shop. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team. - Practical knowledge of press brakes, band saws, chop saws, CNC, and conventional lathes. - FLT licence preferred but not essential. - Confident with computer-based systems for reporting, planning, and communication. - Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Hands-on, proactive approach with a drive to meet production targets and support business growth.
