Manpower are currently recruiting for a Processing Operative to join a busy recycling facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.
Location
- Site location requires own or reliable transport
Shift Pattern - Monday - Friday (6am-2pm/ 3pm-11pm on rotation)
- 8-hour shifts
- Shift-based work, which may include weekends
Pay Rate Key Responsibilities - Operating machinery to process lead/ acid safely and efficiently
- Carrying out manual handling and lifting of heavy materials
- Following all start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment
- Ensuring correct use of PPE at all times
- Assisting with loading/unloading materials where required
- Completing all necessary paperwork and records accurately
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or industrial environment
Skills - Strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new machinery and processes
- Willingness to work with hazardous and corrosive materials
- Happy working in a high-temperature environment
- Mandatory use of specialist PPE, including protective suits and respiratory equipment
