Job Description |
| The company is an established leader in lighting and fire alarm systems globally. Their client base is spread over multiple industry sectors They are seeking to recruit a Project Sales Engineer for their busy operations in the Worcestershire area. Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 per annum - depending on experience. Hours of work are ; Monday to Friday 7.3am 5.30pm. Benefits include company car - fully funded, growth and training opportunities, bonus (open ended depending on sales growth). The main responsibility of the role is to be responsible for managing and generation of lighting project sales across the Midlands area. Securing new business across the region. Responsibilities and duties are as follows; - Identify and generate project opportunities within the local contracting sector. - Liaised key stakeholders on requirements and outline scheme benefits. - Survey of site installations where required to define the scope of works. - Manage the design process in conjunction with the design department to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and in a timely fashion. - Ensure tenders, quotations and technical submittal are correct, accurate and progressed. - Provide regular reporting to management team. - Identify and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities from contractor / customer base across the region. - Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues. Experience and qualifications for the role are as follows; - Experience of selling and developing business within the lighting products / lighting controls industry. - Experience of managing small to large lighting projects throughout the survey, tender through to sales stage. - Motivated to meeting sales targets and driving growth. - Great communication skills at all levels and a can do attitude. - Familiarity with CRM, Microsoft Office & RELUX software. The company are based in Redditch so is commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich, Dudley, Stratford upon Avon, Evesham.
