Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years teacher ready to make a real impact during one of the most formative stages of a child’s education?

Supply Desk are proud to be working with a nurturing, community-focused primary school in Sittingbourne, seeking a qualified Reception Teacher (QTS) to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role until at least July 2026, ideal for someone who is confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum and committed to giving every child the best possible start in their educational journey.

About the Role:

As the class teacher in Reception, you will:

• Deliver a rich, play-based curriculum that supports all areas of the EYFS Framework
• Create a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive
• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, building their independence and confidence
• Track and assess each child’s progress, using formative assessments to inform next steps
• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and families to support children’s development and wellbeing
• Foster curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• QTS and proven experience in delivering high-quality Early Years education
• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood development
• A nurturing, calm, and enthusiastic approach to working with young learners
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom where all children are valued and supported
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
