Receptionist / Administrative Assistant - Holsworthy
Location: Holsworthy (Office-based, with flexible hours considered)
Hours: Preferred 36.25 hours/week, minimum 21.75 hours/week
Contract: Permanent

Salary: £23,751 per annum

Looking for a role where your friendly manner, razor-sharp organisation, and can-do attitude really matter? This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, well-established accountancy firm in the heart of Holsworthy, in a role that's as vital to the team as it is varied.

You'll be the friendly face and steady hand that helps keep the office running smoothly day-to-day. From greeting clients with a warm welcome to handling admin behind the scenes, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the team's ongoing success.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the admin team, you'll:

- Provide administrative and secretarial support to senior staff
- Manage meeting room bookings and prepare spaces for client visits
- Greet visitors, manage parking arrangements, and serve refreshments
- Answer phones and intercom professionally and efficiently
- Manage incoming/outgoing post and monitor the shared inbox
- Handle petty cash, payments, and banking as required
- Keep supplier and contractor info up to date (utilities, emergency contacts etc.)
- Support client onboarding, including ID checks and legal documentation
- Maintain accurate records on internal databases
- Assist with planning and logistics for local office events
- Keep the office filing and document storage in good order

Note: this description covers the core duties, but flexibility is key - other admin responsibilities may come your way as needed.

What We're Looking For

You're someone who thrives on helping others, staying organised, and keeping things ticking along smoothly. Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in an admin or receptionist role (or similar)
- A warm, approachable personality and professional manner
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- A flexible, team-player attitude - but happy working independently too
