Job Title: Recycling Operative
Location: Perth (Transport will be available depending on area)
Hours: 48 hours per week (Dayshift and Nightshift available, weekend work may be required)
Pay Rate: £13.27 - £13.77 per hour Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Recycling Operatives to join our client within a recycling facility in Perth. This role involves handling and preparing electrical equipment for further disposal in a safe and efficient manner. The position offers both day and night shifts, with flexibility required for weekend working. Transport will also be available from specific pick up points. Dayshift Pattern - Monday to Friday - 7am - 6pm Nightshift pattern - Sunday to Thursday - 6pm - 7am
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and processing electrical equipment for recycling and disposal
- Preparing items in line with company and environmental regulations
- Machine operations (training will be provided)
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Dismantling and processing electronic equipment
- Safely handling a variety of electrical goods and materials
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting team members and supervisors with general site duties
Requirements:
- Ability to work 48 hours per week, including weekends when required
- Willingness to work either day or night shifts
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to recycling
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
