| Regional Loss Prevention / Security Manager - Iberia Are you a retail loss prevention professional with a passion for protecting people, assets, and corporate reputation? Our global retail client is looking for a Regional Security Manager Iberia to join their team and play a key role in safeguarding their business across Spain and Portugal. Reporting to the Global Security Manager, this role focuses on retail security, loss prevention, and risk mitigation while collaborating withteams in the UK, Europe, and the USA. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain strong professional networks to enhance security awareness and response. - Monitor threats, risks, and vulnerabilities impacting our retail operations and corporate assets. - Act as a subject matter expert, advising internal stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies. - Lead retail crime prevention initiatives and minimise stock loss. - Evaluate and oversee security guard effectiveness and performance. - Support business events, new store openings, and operational expansions. - Conduct risk assessments, site security audits, and retail store reviews. - Investigate security incidents and provide well-founded recommendations. - Contribute to travel management services, ensuring employee safety abroad. - Play an active role in crisis preparedness and response efforts. - Champion innovation and efficiency across all security operations. The Person - A strategic thinker with a strong background in security risk management and retail loss prevention. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire confidence among stakeholders. - High emotional intelligence and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. - A customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement. - Strong understanding of civil, criminal, and employment law in relevant jurisdictions. - Experience with security technologies, including CCTV and access control systems. - Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus). Qualifications & Experience - Strong background in security management, criminal justice, business, or a related field. - Valid Director de Seguridad license issued by Ministerio del Interior. - Membership in industry groups is valued. - Strong background in corporate security or retail loss prevention. - Proven track record in crime prevention, stock loss control, and corporate asset protection.
