If you believe support work should be personal, purposeful and built around real lives, this Rehabilitation Support Worker role offers the chance to make a genuine difference every single day.

We have multiple positions available where you’ll work 1 to 1 with a male client who has an acquired brain injury, helping him rebuild skills, access the community and live a meaningful, rewarding life.

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker your role will include:

- Supporting a male client with mobility, community access and social activities
- Assisting with rehabilitation goals and therapy programmes set by physiotherapists
- Prompting and assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Administering medication
- Encouraging engagement in local activities such as Headway, Bingo, Warm Hub and family visits
- Working in the client’s home and out in the local Barrow community

 
What we’re looking for in a Rehabilitation Support Worker

- Previous experience in a support worker role
- NVQ / Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
- Full UK driving licence – essential

 

This role would suit someone who knows the local area, enjoys finding new activities and takes pride in delivering care with dignity, compassion and integrity.
