Research and Development Engineer

The Role of a Research and Development Engineer:

You will be based from their site in Hull, working Mon-Fri. You will be responsible for designing prototypes using the latest technologies and refining concepts into accurate product designs and detailed engineering drawings. You will be involved in the testing of the medical devices to verify performance and come up with solutions based on the clients needs. You will be sustaining products once they have been launched to market and then react to changes in the market or regulations. Providing technical support to the clients and the development team is an important part of the role. Working on multiple projects at any one time ranging from up to 2 years.

The Candidate for the Research and Development Engineer Position:

???You MUST have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or other related field

???You MUST have 2 years plus real world experience in a engineering role

???Have excellent communication skills

???Experience with medical equipment is beneficial, but not essential, as full product training is given

???A passion for implementing new ideas and improving existing products

???Strong IT skills

???Able to commute to their site in Hull on a daily basis

???Ability to think under pressure, making fast and informed decisions

???You MUST have right to work in the UK
