Job Description |
| Sheridan Maine are currently partnering with a leading UK wide organisation in the hunt for a Revenue Accountant to join their central finance business team. Â Working within a small team responsible for costs across the business, the Revenue Accountant will be responsible for accurate billing, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis. Â Key duties of the position, will include: Â - Ensure accurate and timely billing. - Liaise with stakeholders to assist with billing related queries. - Analyse billing information to improve costs across the business. - Gather financial data from finance teams to ensure accurate cost and billing information. - Assist with the annual budget and forecast for costs across the business. - Provide business partnering support to key stakeholders. - Monthly reporting with variance analysis and commentary. Â The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes: Â - Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA) (desirable). - Excellent communication skills (essential). - Financial accounting knowledge (essential). - Prior experience of working in an accounts/ finance role (essential). - Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (essential). - Strong level of Excel skills- lookups, pivot tables etc (essential).
