Job Description |
RK Accountancy are working with a well established finance / insurance company just off the M65 motorway junction, who are recruiting for a Risk Co-ordinator role. The successful candidate will have at least 1 years experience in insurance, financial services or asset finance/ factoring. Please note this is essential for this Risk Co-ordinator role.
Experience you will gain:- • Exposure to credit risk management, including underwriting oversight, portfolio monitoring, and governance processes • Hands-on experience in monitoring large exposures, annual credit reviews, and in-life asset audits across a diverse lending portfolio • Practical experience preparing audit packs, supporting audit reviews, and coordinating remediation actions arising from audit findings • Insight into regulatory and internal credit policy frameworks, with exposure to how policies are applied in a live business environment • Exposure to governance and escalation processes, developing confidence in identifying and communicating adverse risk trends • Increased understanding portfolio performance drivers • Experience of Companies House, Experian Alerts, and undertaking Adverse media checks • Understanding the credit policy
Provide support to the In Life Risk & Portfolio Manager, as required
Please note, you will be involved in processing & completing complex admin tasks, but training and support will be given.
An understanding of the financial services sector and money laundering regulations would be very helpful for this opportunity.
