We are looking for a Satellite Systems Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation communication technologies. The role will focus on the design and integration of terrestrial and satellite communication networks, including 5G, 6G and satellite-enabled connectivity.
Key responsibilities
Develop and integrate telecoms and satellite communication systems.
Work on terrestrial and satellite networks, including 5G and 6G technologies.
Support technical projects and solve complex engineering challenges.
Integrate telecoms components with embedded systems and hardware platforms.
Work with external businesses, universities and research organisations.
Contribute to technical proposals and collaborative projects.
Key Skills
An MSc in Telecommunications, Satellite Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Four years of experience in telecommunications, satellite communications or a similar field.
Knowledge of cellular networks, satellite communications, ground stations or network architecture.
Experience with end-to-end communication system design and integration.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Linux, coding and scripting, embedded systems, hardware platforms, satellite-enabled 5G and 6G.
