Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in Crawley who are looking to recruit a Science Teacher. You will be teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school.

The role:

The Position based in Crawley, is a full time, long term contract. The right candidate plays a key role in inspiring students to explore biology, chemistry, and physics through engaging lessons and hands-on experiments. They follow the UK national curriculum, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By nurturing curiosity, they prepare students for academic success and future careers in science

The ideal candidate will:

• Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS(Desirable)
• Experience delivering the UK national curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage students of varying abilities
  • Current valid DBS (On the update Service) or the willingness to obtain one
  • Creative teaching approach, encouraging hands-on learning
