Key Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
• Provide individual or small group support, either within or outside the classroom.
• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with SEN.
• Create engaging and adaptive learning resources that support student growth.
• Assess student progress, providing regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Foster independence and help develop social and emotional skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Possess a passion for developing students’ potential and overcoming learning barriers.
• Be adaptable and able to deliver lessons tailored to a variety of learning styles and needs.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Hold an NVQ in Childcare and Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Ideally have Team Teach, TEACCH, or positive handling training (or be willing to undertake training).
• Have a clear and valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

Why Choose Supply Desk?
• Attractive salary package with competitive pay rates.
• A dedicated education consultant to support you every step of the way.
• Free professional development and CPD opportunities.
• Flexibility with full-time or part-time roles.
• £100 ‘Golden Hello’ bonus for successful teacher or teaching assistant referrals.
