Are you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in school settings? Ready for a rewarding role supporting a named KS2 pupil and contributing to a nurturing learning environment?

We are an established education agency seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a welcoming primary school in Ashford. This is a long-term placement to start immediately, working closely with a KS2 pupil on a one-to-one basis and assisting with midday supervision duties.

Role Overview:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a named pupil in Key Stage 2 with special educational needs.

• Assist with classroom activities and the pupil’s personal development throughout the school day.

• Engage with teachers, SENCO and support staff to ensure consistent, child-centred learning support.

• Participate in midday supervision, encouraging positive social interactions and safe play.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting children with SEN.

• Strong understanding of a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.

• Ability to build rapport with children and work effectively as part of a school team.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
