About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the classroom team, supporting children in a variety of ways-whether working with the whole class, small groups, or on a one-to-one basis. If you have a positive mindset, enjoy making a difference, and love working with children, this role is perfect for you.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils to engage with the curriculum and reach their full potential

Assist the class teacher with lesson prep and managing the classroom

Deliver focused interventions in literacy, numeracy, or social skills

Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs when needed

Maintain classroom resources, displays, and learning areas

Build respectful and supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues
What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children (in schools or other settings) is a plus

Calm, friendly, and proactive approach to supporting learners

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Genuine enthusiasm for education and child development

Willingness to learn and undertake relevant training

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
