Supply Desk is recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Eastbourne. This full-time role begins ASAP and offers an excellent long-term opportunity, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will support students with a range of special educational needs, working both 1:1 and in small groups. The school promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment and seeks someone patient, proactive, and committed to helping pupils succeed. Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN -
Assist the class teacher with adapted and differentiated learning -
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment -
Support behaviour management and pupil engagement -
Offer academic and emotional support tailored to individual needs -
Work effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
Requirements

Experience working with children (SEN experience desirable) -
Calm, resilient, and nurturing approach -
Strong communication and teamwork skills -
Ability to build positive, supportive relationships -
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
